1 Gateway of India
Gateway of India was built in 1924 by the British. It was made to welcome King George V when he visited India. It is located near the sea in South Mumbai. Today, it’s one of the most visited spots where tourists enjoy the view, take photos, and ride boats.

2 Marine Drive
Marine Drive was built in the 1930s during British rule. It is a 3.6 km road along the sea, shaped like a curve. At night, the lights look like a necklace, which is why it’s called the “Queen’s Necklace.” People love walking here and watching the sunset peacefully.

3 Elephanta Caves
Elephanta Caves are over 1,200 years old. They were made by early Hindu kings and show amazing carvings of Lord Shiva. These caves are on an island and can be reached by boat from Gateway of India. They became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987 because of their history.

4 Sanjay Gandhi National Park
This park was started in 1969 and is spread over a large green area in north Mumbai. It is named after Sanjay Gandhi. The park has wild animals, birds, Kanheri Caves, and a toy train. Many people visit to relax in nature or go for a weekend picnic.

6 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)
CSMT was built in 1887 by the British to celebrate Queen Victoria’s 50th year on the throne. It was designed by British architect Frederick Stevens. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its beautiful Victorian Gothic style. It’s still one of Mumbai’s busiest train stations today.

10 Bandra-Worli Sea Link
The Bandra-Worli Sea Link was completed in 2010. It was built by Hindustan Construction Company and designed by engineers from India and abroad. It connects Bandra and Worli to reduce traffic. The bridge is 5.6 km long and looks beautiful, especially when lit up at night.
